Kate, named after Katherine Hepburn, turned out with the same strong will and character as her namesake.
Her glass work is usually pictorial in nature. Combining opaque and translucent glass with large areas of solder-work, Kate creates a 3-dimensional depiction of incredible landscapes and skies.
She has studied with the prestigious Powers brothers of Phoenix.
She currently is working on a large project at the Inn at Port Hadlock. Many of her pieces are part of the the incredible renovation project transforming the Inn into a one of a kind must see destination on the Olympic Peninsula.
